JAMUL, CA – One Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 94 at Lyons Valley Road

Morning Head-On Collision on Highway 94 in Jamul Ends in Fatality

 
JAMUL, CA (April 27, 2019) – One person was killed following a head-on crash Saturday morning in Jamul, authorities said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:34 a.m., on Highway 94. Dispatchers arrived at Lyons Valley Road soon after.
 
According to an initial report, a gray Toyota 4Runner and a white Ford Focus collided head-on for unknown reasons. As a result, both drivers consequently suffered major injuries and had to be extricated from their cars.
 
Paramedics transported the two patients to nearby hospitals for further treatment. One of the drivers was declared dead due to the extent of their injuries. The other driver’s condition was not immediately known.
 
Furthermore, the identity of the deceased victim has also been withheld pending family notification.
 
Authorities are still currently working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information. More details will eventually be released once available.
