1 Killed in Grays Harbor County Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 near Mile Marker 78
GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, WA (October 26, 2022) – Monday morning, Jamie Walsh died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Mile Marker 78.
The incident happened at around 10:40 a.m. on Highway 101 at mile marker 78.
According to reports, a southbound 2003 Chrysler 300 veered across the center line for still unknown reasons and collided with a northbound log truck.
Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Chrysler, Jamie M. Walsh of Aberdeen, dead at the scene. Jamie is the wife of 19th Legislative District Rep. Jim Walsh. Also, officers said that the log truck driver, Edward S. Reames, suffered no injuries in the incident.
Meanwhile, the events leading to the fatal crash remained under investigation.
