OAKLAND, CA (February 15, 2024) – Tuesday morning, James Jackson suffered injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash on 40th Avenue.

A car struck the 18-year-old boy at 8:05 a.m. at 40th Avenue and International Boulevard.

Christy Miles, the victim’s mother revealed that she believes the car was white, but she wasn’t able to provide any other details.

Meanwhile, responders took her son to the hospital with injuries and broken bones.
