James Bixman Dead after Prather Motorcycle Accident on Highway 168

 
PRATHER, CA (August 5, 2019) – One person identified as James Bixman died after a motorcycle crash near Prather on Friday, August 2.
 
The accident occurred on Highway 168 near Morgan Canyon Road east of Gooseberry Lane shortly before 2 p.m.
 
CHP officers said that the motorcyclist, 52-year-old James Bixman of Clovis, was coming down the hill.
 
At the same time, a big rig was moving up. Then for some reason, he crossed over and crashed head-on with the semi.
 
Bixman died upon impact.
 
Officers have shut down a portion of the highway while they cleaned up the scene.
