Injuries Reported in Rock Island Head-On Crash on State Route 28

ROCK ISLAND, WA (December 20, 2022) – Monday afternoon, James Anderson and Jennifer Anderson suffered injuries in an accident on State Route 28.

The incident occurred just after 11:30 a.m. on State Route 28 south of Rock Island.

According to reports, 22-year-old Gasper Torreslino drove a westbound 1999 Ford Ranger. Then, it drove across the center line. However, it crashed head-on with 38-year-old James Anderson of Medical Lake driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla.

After the crash, responders took both drivers to Central Washington Hospital with injuries. They also transported a passenger in the Corolla, 33-year-old Jennifer Anderson of Medical Lake.

At this time, Torreslino remained under investigation for vehicular assault charges.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the Rock Island crash.
