LARIMER COUNTY, CO (June 21, 2018) – A man was killed Thursday evening after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on the US Highway 34. 60-year-old Jahn Clark of Loveland, was later identified as the fatality in this incident.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened shortly after 6:00 PM near Butte Road. A westbound Honda Accord was traveling ahead of a semi-truck, driven by 24-year-old Jared Rodriguez of Greeley.

The Honda slowed down in an attempt to make a left turn on Butte, but Rodriguez failed to observe and rear-ended the vehicle. The impact pushed the Honda into a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Clark. The motorcyclist was thrown onto the ground.
