1 Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident near Las Vegas Boulevard and Belmont Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 13, 2021) – Early Monday morning, authorities arrested Jacqueline Rose Martin after a fatal crash near Las Vegas Boulevard.
The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 1:00 a.m. after receiving a report of an injured person. However, upon their arrival, they found the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation indicated that a northbound vehicle hit the man waiting at a bus stop on North Las Vegas Boulevard.
On the other hand, vehicle driver Jacqueline Rose Martin failed to stop and escaped the scene.
Medical responders declared the man in his late 40s deceased at the scene.
At this time, the authorities are withholding the identity of the victim due to pending family notification. Also, they haven’t disclosed the cause and manner of death of the victim.
As a result, Martin faces one count of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon. The authorities booked her at the North Las Vegas Community Corrections Center.
