Police Identify Vehicle Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Crash near Nellis Boulevard
SUNRISE MANOR, NV (April 3, 2019) – A woman was killed late Wednesday evening following a hit-and-run crash near Nellis Boulevard.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened on Charleston Boulevard, shortly before 11:30 PM. 48-year-old Jacqueline Dillon and her 7-year-old grandchild were crossing the street when a vehicle struck the victim.
Dillon’s grandchild made it safely across the street. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A GoFundMe page was created to assist Dillon’s family with funeral expenses. Click on the link to donate and to support the campaign.
Meanwhile, the driver did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area. Investigators described the suspect vehicle as a 2011 to 2013 white Toyota Corolla S that likely has front-end damage.
