Jacob Echegoyen Dead in Victorville Auto Accident on Highway 395

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 21, 2020) – Friday afternoon, a pickup truck and motorcycle crash on Highway 395 killed 25-year-old Jacob Echegoyen.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash at 5:30 p.m. on June 19th. The incident took place on Highway 395 between Bear Valley Road and La Mesa Road.
 
The police revealed that a white-colored truck with a trailer hauling party equipment was traveling north on Highway 395. Then, the driver maneuvered a legal U-turn to turn south on Highway 395.
 
He attempted to turn to avoid the heavy traffic caused by a previous crash. Unfortunately, as the truck turned, a northbound white Honda Interceptor motorcycle hit the truck’s side.
 

Pending Investigation for the Motorcycle Crash on Highway 395

 
Due to the incident, the authorities closed north and southbound lanes of Highway 395 during the investigation.
 
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist, Mr. Echegoyen, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. The pickup truck driver was uninjured, and has been cooperative with the investigation.
 
After 10:00 p.m., the Victorville Police Department reopened Highway 395.
 
Furthermore, the authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
