67-Year-Old Woman Dies when Her Motorcycle Collides with Car on 10 Freeway in Boyle Heights
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (November 24, 2019) – A woman was killed when her motorcycle and a car collided late Sunday evening in Boyle Heights, authorities said.
The crash happened around 11:37 p.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway at Soto Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an orange Toyota Prius collided with the motorcycle for unknown reasons. As a result, the female rider suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as 67-year-old Jaclyn Harris.
At least four freeway lanes were closed for the investigation but reopened around 3:06 a.m.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
