Jackson Allender Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway

 
Long Beach, CA (December 4, 2020) – On Wednesday, 32-year-old Jackson Allender died, while police arrested 30-year-old Josh Lemusu of Long Beach in a pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. when Allender was hit by a vehicle while crossing the highway near Lewis Street.
 
Responders immediately arrived. However, Allender still died at the scene.
 
Lemusu, the involved driver drove east after the crash.
 
Minutes later, authorities arrested him on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence, and failing to stop at the scene.
 
Lemusu was being held in jail on $100,000 bail.
