Isiah Johnson Killed in Baker Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway

Isiah Johnson Dead in Solo-Car Wreck on 15 Freeway Near Zzyzx Road

 
BAKER, CA (January 29, 2019) – A rollover crash on the 15 North Freeway near Zzyzx Road Saturday afternoon left a San Diego man dead.
 
Isiah Moore Johnson was identified by the San Bernardino County coroner’s office as the deceased male in the 3:40 p.m. crash. California Highway Patrol Barstow Area officers arrived at the scene to find a 2004 Ford Explorer with major damage.
 
Johnson was believed to be traveling southbound on the 15 Freeway when for unknown reasons he allowed the Ford to drift toward the center divider where it overturned. The 28-year-old San Diego man died and his 46-year-old male passenger, also from San Diego, was unharmed.
 
Police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
