Isaac Romero Dies in E Shield Avenue Pedestrian Accident

 
Fresno, CA (April 24, 2020)– Friday evening, a 27-year-old Isaac Romero, died in a pedestrian accident in E Shield Avenue and N Maroa Avenue.
 
Authorities responded after receiving crash reports at around 9:15 p.m., on April 22. First dispatched officers arrived E Shield Avenue and N Maroa Avenue, shortly after.
 
According to police reports, Romero was crossing the dark corner of the street when the vehicle struck her.
 
Due to the extent of her injuries, she was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for life-threatening injuries. However, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Authorities have yet to disclose the person’s identity.
