4 Dead in Fresno Multi-Vehicle Accident on Palm Avenue and Bullard Avenue

FRESNO, CA (December 28, 2020) – On Saturday, Irvin Villarreal, Christopher Vang, and two others died in a multi-vehicle crash on Palm Avenue and Bullard Avenue.

The crash involving three vehicles happened at around 11:40 p.m. Moreover, the incident led to the closure of Palm Avenue and Bullard Avenue. However, the roads reopened mid-morning on Sunday.

After receiving several responders, the police came to the scene and found debris scattered on the road and into a parking lot. They also spotted tires in the lot and an engine for one of the vehicles along the wall of an establishment.

At this time, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. Even so, the authorities believe that a black Ford Mustang driver traveled at a high speed on Bullard Avenue. Then, the driver failed to yield at a red light on Palm Avenue. Afterward, it hit at least one of the two other vehicles. The said vehicles were identified as a white Toyota Tacoma pickup and a silver Mini Cooper.

Meanwhile, a surveillance video confirmed the said the officers’ conclusion.

As a result, two of the five parties in the white truck succumbed to injuries, said Fresno police Lt. Jordan Beckford. Meanwhile, responders transported another person to Community Regional Medical Center where he/she later died.

After the Fresno Fire Department extracted the Mustang driver from the wreckage, they took him to CRMC. Unfortunately, he also died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old female driver of the Mini Cooper suffered minor injuries. Responders also took her to the hospital.

The other occupants of the truck were transported to the hospital in critical and stable condition, respectively.

Later reports claim the four deceased included Fresno residents Irvin Villarreal and Christopher Vang, 27. The other two deaths were reported as Linda Chang, 21, and Allison Chang, 17.
