Sedan Driver Hurt in 4-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99

Chico, CA (April 08, 2022) On Thursday afternoon, a sedan driver was injured in a 4-car collision on Highway 99.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the crash happened around 3:52 p.m. by the East 20th Street offramp on Highway 99.

Reports say that the collision involved 4 motorists and 1 driver who sustained injuries.

Officials say that as traffic slowed down on the fast lane a pickup crashed into a sedan. Then the pickup then hit another pickup.

Meanwhile, the impact caused the sedan to crash into a 3rd pickup.

Paramedics say that the sedan driver was the only one who sustained injuries in the incident.
