Injuries Reported in Phelan Two-Vehicle Accident on Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road

PHELAN, CA (March 12, 2023) – Saturday morning, an injury crash on Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road injured three people.

The California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and San Bernardino County Fire Department received reports of the crash. Moreover, the crash involving two vehicles happened at about 7:06 p.m. on Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Rd.

According to reports, the crash involved a white Jeep Cherokee with major front-end damage. Also, they found a dark gray possibly Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck with major damage to the door area.

Responders used the Jaws-Of-Life to assist in the extrication of the victim.

Upon the rescue teams’ arrival, they requested at least 3 ground ambulances and one medical helicopter to the scene.

Then, Mercy Air #22 airlifted the pickup truck driver to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, ground ambulances transported the other patients to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

Also, the incident shut down the road for about an hour but has since re-opened to traffic.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
