Injuries Sustained in Separate Accidents on 80 Freeway [San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 17, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in separate accidents reported on eastbound 80 Freeway, Monday morning. It was not clear if both incidents were related.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:32 AM, near the Treasure Island Road off-ramp. Based on their report, two vehicles were involved in the first crash and another two cars were part of the second case. The parties were identified as a silver sedan facing the wrong way, a blue Honda Accord, a dark-colored SUV and an unknown vehicle.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They recorded injuries sustained by the involved motorists. Fortunately, the victims’s conditions were described as non-life-threatening.

The Honda’s front-end tires were blown out. A clearing operation was conducted to prevent further disruption in the flow of traffic in the area. The cause of the accident was not yet determined by the authorities. No other information has been disclosed to the public, as the investigation is ongoing.
