Lanes Blocked after Traffic Collision near Robin Williams Tunnel

MARIN COUNTY, CA (November 23, 2018) – Injuries were sustained early Friday morning following a rollover crash on Highway 101. The identities of the victims were not disclosed to the public.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at about 5:30 AM. For unknown reasons, a vehicle overturned near the Robin Williams Tunnel, blocking three right lanes.

The Southern Marin Fire Protection District, along with the CHP, responded to the scene to help the involved parties. The number of people injured and the extent of injuries suffered were not immediately known.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
