Four Vehicles Involved in Major Collision near 5 Freeway

KETTLEMAN CITY, CA (November 18, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 on the northbound lanes, early Monday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:26 PM, near the 5 Freeway. Based on their report, a total of four vehicles were recovered at the scene. It was not clear what circumstance led to the pile-up.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. One motorist was found unconscious and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. He suffered serious head injuries. There is not update on his current medical condition.

A clearing operation was performed to clean and clear the area, while an investigation was conducted to identify the cause of the crash and possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once available.
