Vehicle Overturns in Head-On Collision near Heacock Street

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 26, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 60, late Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:42 PM, just east of Heacock Street. Based on an initial report, there were three vehicles involved in the pile-up. A pickup truck was found on its side, a silver SUV was at the right side of the road, while the third vehicle was not yet identified.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They transported one person to Riverside University Health System Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
 
The authorities closed the No. 2 lane, while fire officials worked to clear the area.
 
It is currently unclear which vehicle started the pile-up. An investigation is still ongoing at this time.
