Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near East Aten Road

 
EL CENTRO, CA (March 26, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on southbound Highway 111, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:13 PM. Dispatchers arrived just south of East Aten Road shortly after.
 
Furthermore, reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in the pile-up. The first one struck the second, and the second was also rear-ended by the third vehicle.
 
The paramedics were eventually requested for needed medical attention. They rescued motorists who suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact.
 
The surrounding area was closed while crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary investigation. No more information about the accident has been released at this time.
