Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Cesar Chavez Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 18, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on northbound Highway 101, Thursday afternoon.
 
Authorities responded to the collision around 4:50 PM, just north of Cesar Chavez Street. Dispatchers arrived to the area soon after.
 
Three vehicles were identified, a Ford Thunderbird, a red Toyota SUV, and a gray Acura. One was found on top of the center divider upon officers arrival.
 
One victim complained of neck pain due to the impact of the crash. However, medics said their condition was minor.
 
Furthermore, a SigAlert was also issued. The northbound lanes were consequently blocked off for a brief time while crews worked to clean the scene. Meanwhile, rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
 
An investigation is still currently ongoing to eventually determine liability. In addition, more details will be disclosed to the public once it becomes available. No further information has been given at this time.
