Major Damage Recorded in Pile-Up near 105 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 5, 2018) – On Wednesday afternoon, several people were injured in a multi-car crash on 110 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 2:19 PM near the 5 Freeway connector. The collision involved a black Mercedes-Benz, a black Chevrolet Volta, and another unidentified vehicle.

Reports stated that the Mercedes struck the Chevy and the third car, causing it to overturn and land on its roof. The cause of the initial collision is not yet known by officials.

An ambulance was requested to the scene for needed medical attention. The medics reported injuries sustained by the involved motorists, and all conditions injuries were considered to be minor.

The Chevy was seen with major collision damage, and a clearing operation was performed to clear the No. 1 lane in the area. Roads were temporarily closed while crews cleaned up and authorities conducted their investigation. Circumstances that led to the incident are unclear at this time. No further details have been disclosed as the investigation continues.
