Five Vehicles Involved in Crash on 105 Freeway

 
HAWTHORNE, CA (July 8, 2019) – People sustained injuries in a multi-car crash on 105 Freeway westbound Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place just east of Crenshaw Boulevard around 1:02 PM. Based on an initial report, five vehicles involved in the pile-up. Police did not provide descriptions as of this report.
 
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were victims who suffered minor injuries due to impact.
 
The commotion blocked at least three right lanes of the highway. No. 1,2, and the HOV lanes shut down while rescue and clearing operations conducted by first responders.
 
It is not yet clear in what circumstance the pile-up occurred. An investigation by the authorities is on-going.
