Man Injured in Glendale Auto Accident near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road

GLENDALE, AZ (March 27, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a truck crash near 67th Avenue led to life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road, said Glendale Police.

When the officers arrived, they located a black car that had struck a fence and some light poles before it stopped.

Also, it crashed into a truck with a trailer flipped onto its side near the intersection.

As a result, responders transported one of the drivers to the hospital in critical condition.

According to investigators, the car traveled at a high-speed west on W Camelback Road, possibly at a red light.

Then, it crashed with the northbound truck on 67th Avenue.

At this time, the authorities suspect that impairment played a role in the crash.

Also, the incident completely shut down the intersection in all directions.
