Rollover Collision Involving AC Transit Bus on Interstate 580 near Bay Bridge

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 11, 2019) – At least one person suffered injuries in a bus collision on Interstate 580, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 8:18 AM. Due to unknown reasons, an AC Transit bus collided with a four-door sedan. At least one vehicle overturned as a result of the crash.
 
Emergency responders rendered aid to the injured victims. However, the extent of their injuries and their current conditions remain unknown.
 
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
