Several Hurt in Vanderberg Village Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 1 near Santa Lucia Canyon Road
VANDERBERG VILLAGE, CA (December 16, 2023) – Friday night, a startling multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Santa Lucia Canyon Road led to injuries.
The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Highway 1 near Santa Lucia Canyon Road, near Vanderberg Village.
After the crash, two AMR ambulances responded to the scene to transport the injured patients to the hospital, said Capt. Scott Safechuck of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Moreover, the incident shut down the highway for a time after the crash. Also, officers confirmed that the crash led to multiple injuries.
