Injuries Reported in Street-Racing Crash on 60 Freeway [Eastvale, CA]

Evening Street-Racing Collision near 15 Freeway

EASTVALE, CA (November 15, 2018) – On Thursday night, injuries were reported following a street-racing crash on 60 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:32 PM in the eastbound lanes of the highway, just west of the 15 Freeway.

CHP officials stated a white Dodge Charger and a blue Hyundai SUV were racing prior to the accident. One of the cars spun out of control and was hit by a semi-truck. Injuries were sustained in the accident, but the extent of the injuries and the number of injured patients was not immediately known.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and transported the wounded to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. Towing services were also requested to handle the clearing operation.

It is unknown if any charges have been filed and liability has not yet been determined. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
