Nine-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 80 Injured People
Fairfield, CA (October 26, 2020) – On Saturday, injuries were reported in a nine-vehicle collision on Interstate 80.
The incident happened at about 6:15 a.m. near Suisun Valley Road.
The authorities did not provide information if they took any injured motorists to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol blocked the affected lanes after the incident but reopened at about 7:20 a.m. on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield.
Practice safe driving habits on the road at all times… even when it is empty, even when there is no police officer around to make sure you make a full and complete stop.
Aim high in steering. Don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you. If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.
The Rising Numbers of Road Accidents
According to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year.
Roadways, while scrupulously created and mapped for efficient travel, are one of the most dangerous settings.
As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a crash.
Thus, the most valuable step you can take in response to a vehicle crash is hiring a personal injury attorney.
“Personal injury attorneys prioritize your recovery while securing your future from further losses a severe accident can bring. A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is simply not true. Moreover, injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. We are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an attorney practicing for over 40 years.
