2 Vehicles Collide Head-On in Stratford Leading to Injuries

 
STRATFORD, CA (May 31, 2019) – Injuries were reported following a head-on crash on Highway 41 early Friday morning, in Stratford.
 
Officers responded to the collision around 5:23 a.m., on Highway 41. Dispatchers arrived near Kansas Avenue shortly after. Reports indicate that two vehicles were allegedly involved. However, they have not been identified.
 
Details of what led up to the collision are currently unclear, however authorities say multiple injuries were sustained as a result of the impact. An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and gave aid to those who were hurt.
 
The northbound lanes were blocked for a brief time during the rescue and clearing operations, but have since reopened. No further details have been released to the public.
 
Moreover, it is also currently unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the collision. An investigation is still active and ongoing at this time.
