Richland, TX (December 17, 2024) On Sunday morning, 2 people were hurt and hospitalized after a horrific traffic crash on I-820.

According to the North Richland Hills Police Department (NRHPD), the disastrous crash happened at about 11 a.m. near Holiday Lane.

Reports say that a vehicle veered off the I-820 eastbound access road, near Holiday Lane, and crashed into a house. The impact left a resident inside the home and the vehicle’s driver with serious injuries. Emergency responders transported both individuals to a nearby hospital, where they are expected to survive.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and the identities of those involved remain undisclosed.
