GLENBROOK, NV (November 12, 2019) — A Sunday afternoon head-on Highway 50 crash resulted in multiple injuries near Tall Pines Road.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident unfolded around 4:30 p.m. in Douglas County near Lake Tahoe. A helicopter was summoned to the scene to assist an injured party who reportedly had to be extricated.
 
Authorities did not indicate how many people sustained injuries or the factors that drove the collision.
 
Due to the accident, crews shut down all lanes for several hours. Police did not release any additional information at this time.
