Fontana Injury Crash on Duncan Canyon Road

 
FONTANA, CA (July 13, 2020) – Late Saturday night, an injury car crash occurred on Duncan Canyon Road in Fontana.
 
The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 11:28 p.m. on July 11th. The Fontana Police Department and San Bernardino County firefighters came to the crash scene on Duncan Canyon Road and Coyote Canyon Road.
 
Upon their arrival, they found a black Honda Accord that had overturned and landed on its wheels. Meanwhile, they also found a blue Honda Civic near the crash scene.
 
According to reports, the Accord driver managed to exit the vehicle. The emergency responders treated him at the scene for a minor laceration to the head.
 
The authorities revealed that the Civic driver stopped at a northbound stop sign on Coyote Canyon Road. When the Civic made a left turn onto Duncan Canyon Road, the eastbound Accord driver on Duncan Canyon failed to yield at the stop sign.
 
As a result, both vehicles sideswiped each other. Afterward, the Accord driver lost control and crashed into the center divider. Then, the vehicle overturned into the westbound lanes of Duncan Canyon Road and landed on its wheels.
 
Meanwhile, the Civic driver stopped in the westbound lanes of Duncan Canyon Road, west of Coyote Canyon Road.
 
According to authorities, both drivers suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
 
The Fontana P.D. currently handles the crash investigation.
