SPOKANE, WA (June 24, 2019) – Injuries were reported after a crash involving a Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy on 90 Freeway on June 19.
 
The car chase involving a stolen vehicle resulted in two separate collisions.
 
One of the accidents involved a Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy. Furthermore, minor injuries were sustained as a result of the impact.
 
The driver of the stolen vehicle was not apprehended.
 
The westbound lanes of I-90 were blocked to give way to the investigation. Officers later advised commuters to take an alternate route while the eastbound lane was expected to be open in an hour or less.
