Multiple People Hurt in Las Vegas Car Crash on Fremont Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 11, 2019) – Several people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Fremont Street on June 7.
The incident happened when a car tried to escape the authorities collided in the central Las Vegas Valley.
Before 9:00 a.m., a Las Vegas deputy marshal tried to stop a vehicle. However, the driver escaped the scene and later collided in the area of Fremont Street and Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas police spokesman Aden OcampoGomez revealed.
The collision involved two buses and two cars and one victim had to be cut out of the vehicle, OcampoGomez said. As a result, several people went to University Medical Center with injuries, he added.
Southbound Las Vegas Boulevard stayed closed at Ogden Avenue several hours after the collision. Authorities advised drivers to avoid the area.
