Lanes Closed after San Francisco Injury Crash on Interstate 280 and Westborough Boulevard

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 29, 2023) – Friday morning, a startling auto accident on Interstate 280 and Westborough Boulevard led to injuries.

The incident occurred before 6:25 a.m. on southbound Interstate 280, north of Westborough Boulevard in South San Francisco.

According to reports, the authorities issued a severe traffic alert after the injury crash which shut down multiple lanes for half an hour.

Officers confirmed that the crash shut down the right and center lanes. However, the circumstances that led to the crash or the extent of injuries remained undisclosed. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Also, once the incident has been resolved, the CHP reopened all lanes by 7:00 a.m.
