Injuries Reported in Pile-Up Crash on Central Texas Expressway and Trimmier Road [Killeen, TX]

1 Arrested in Killeen Auto Accident on Central Texas Expressway and Trimmier Road

KILLEEN, TX (February 12, 2025) – Monday night, a pile-up crash on Central Texas Expressway and Trimmer Road led to injuries.

The incident happened when a GMC pickup truck traveled in the outside lane of the Central Texas Expressway. 

A GMC pickup truck veered off the road near Trimmier Road and Central Texas Expressway, hitting a pedestrian signal light pole and a “Do Not Enter” sign before running a red light.

The truck was struck by a Honda SUV traveling south on Trimmier Road, causing it to spin and collide with a GMC SUV and a Nissan SUV stopped at the red light. The impact pushed the GMC SUV into another lane, where it hit a Ford SUV, which then caused damage to a Chevy sedan behind it due to debris.

The driver of the GMC pickup was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Killeen City Jail. Injuries were reported.
