LASSEN COUNTY, CA (October 19, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, authorities reported injuries in a crippling big rig crash on US-395 and Johnson Road.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on US-395 and Johnson Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig collided with a school bus for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that no serious injuries were sustained in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed Highway 395 near Johnson Road but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
