Major Injuries in Head-On Collision on Bass Lake Road South of Woodleigh Lane
CAMERON PARK, CA (December 25, 2017) – On Sunday night, around 7:49 PM, there was a head-on car accident that resulted in at least one person with critical injuries.
The head-on crash in Cameron Park took place on Bass Lake Road just south of Woodleigh Lane. According to the CHP report from that evening, an off duty Camino Park Fire Department officer requested 3 ambulances and 2 air ambulances to respond to the scene. The exact number of people injured or the condition of the injuries were not stated.
A sedan was 75 feet off the roadway, and tow trucks were called to clear blocked lanes.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
