Angels Camp Multi-Vehicle Accident near Highway 49 and Cosgrave Road

ANGELS CAMP, CA (October 8, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling 3-vehicle crash near Highway 49 and Cosgrave Road led to injuries.

The incident involving three vehicles, including an overturned truck happened at around 1:42 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 49 and Cosgrave Road. 

Initial reports indicated that the collision involved a solar van and a gray Dodge pickup truck. The truck was found overturned on its side, prompting emergency services to respond to the scene.

As of 1:46 PM, the nature of the injuries remains unclear, with the CHP updating the status from “unknown injuries” to a more serious classification. Units from the CHP and local authorities were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation. 

The roadway was partially obstructed due to the overturned vehicle, but updates indicate that units have been working to clear the area.
