Jeep and Pickup Truck Collide on Highway 70 in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (May 18, 2019) – Injuries and damage were reported following a two-vehicle collision in Oroville.
 
The collision happened around 9:06 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 70 and Palermo Road.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a white Jeep and a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, blocking the southbound lanes.
 
Injuries were found in the accident but the number of patients and the extent of their injuries were not immediately available. An ambulance unit was dispatched to transport the victims to a hospital.
 
The crash also caused major front-end damage on the Jeep, and major rear-end damage on the Tacoma. Both vehicles were towed away from the wreckage.
