Lubbock, TX (Aug. 8, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, a person sustained injuries following an 18-wheeler vs pickup truck collision on Highway 62.

The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. in the area of CR 7300.

Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said that a pickup truck on CR 7300 did not yield to the 18-wheeler on the highway and the two vehicles collided.

The pickup truck driver was transported to University Medical Center.
