INDIO, CA – Man Killed in Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway at Frontage Road

Early Morning Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway in Indio Kills Fresno Man

 
INDIO, CA (March 26, 2019) – A man was killed following a rollover crash early Tuesday morning in Indio, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:55 a.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway at Frontage Road.
 
According to an initial dispatch, a Toyota 4Runner had flipped over for unknown reasons. An ambulance, two fire engines and six firefighters arrived at the scene about 20 minutes later.
 
Emergency crews found the SUV driver dead inside the car. The victim was only identified as a 46-year-old Fresno resident. His name has been withheld pending notification of his family members.
 
No one else was injured in the crash.
 
The crash remains under investigation, but preliminary reports indicate that alcohol or drugs were not believed to be factors.
