Immanuel Lord Arrested in Interstate 8 DUI Crash [Yuma, AZ]

DPS Trooper Hurt in Rear-End Collision on Interstate 8

Yuma, AZ (July 23, 2022) On Tuesday evening, 25-year-old Immanuel Lord of Chula Vista, rear-ended a DPS vehicle and injured a trooper on Interstate 8.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says that the incident happened just before 11 p.m. along I-8.

Reports say that Lord, driving an Audi sedan crashed at the back of a fully marked DPS vehicle. The DPS vehicle had its emergency lights on and was attempting to merge onto westbound I-8.

The collision seriously damaged the DPS vehicle, fortunately, the trooper sustained minor injuries.

Authorities say that Lord was driving impaired, and he also suffered minor injuries.

DPS arrested and booked Lord on charges including DUI, aggravated assault, and endangerment.
