20-Year-Old Igor Haydarov Rear-Ended in Late Night Crash
TOUCHET, WA (March 19, 2018) – A 73-year-old man was injured in a two-car collision on Highway 12, on Monday night around 9:30 PM.
According to Washington State Patrol reports, 20-year-old Igor Haydarov was driving westbound on the 12 freeway, about four miles from Touchet. He slowed down to make a right turn onto a dirt road, when he was rear-ended by a Dodge D350 pickup truck.
The impact of the collision sent the truck into to ditch, and multiple refrigerators that were in Haydarov’s car, to spill out onto the highway. James B Devine, who was driving the Dodge, complained of a sore neck and back and was transported to the Providence St Mary Medical Center. He was treated and released. Haydarov was not injured, according to reports.
Trooper Chris Thorson of the WSP said that the cause of the accident was lack of attention on the road. Devine was cited for inattention; charges are pending at this time.
