NHP Investigates Volvo-Hyundai Collision near Mustang
Reno, NV (October 21, 2022) On Thursday morning, a fatal 2-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 injured a Hyundai driver.
Nevada Highway Patrol says that the deadly Volvo-Hyundai collision happened at around 6:30 a.m. near Mustang.
Reports say that a speeding black Volvo sedan made an unsafe lane change and clipped a van. Afterward, the Volvo crossed the median then a silver Hyundai sedan struck the Volvo.
Authorities pronounced the Volvo driver dead at the scene, while the Hyundai driver suffered injuries. Paramedics transported the Hyundai driver to a hospital.
NHP is investigating the Volvo-Hyundai collision on I-80. At this time, authorities have not provided updates on the incident.
