Oakland Crash Kills 69-Year-Old Hui Jun Xie

Oakland, CA (July 18, 2021) – On Wednesday, 69-year-old Hui Jun Xie of Oakland died in Interstate 15 solo-vehicle crash.

The fatal incident took place at 3:03 p.m. about half mile north of Nipton Road.

When authorities arrived, they pronounced the passenger victim dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the officers are still investigating the incident.
