2 Hospitalized in Llano Big Rig Accident on Highway 138 near Puzzle Canyon Road

LLANO, CA (April 16, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a horrifying traffic accident on Highway 138 near Puzzle Canyon Road sent two people to a hospital.

The incident happened at around 2:42 p.m. on Highway 138 near Puzzle Canyon Road.

According to reports, two big-rig dump trucks collided for still unknown reasons. Also, one of the big rigs rolled over during the incident, spilling gravel rocks over the roadway.

Moreover, responding firefighters extricated the driver of one of the big rigs who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics airlifted the driver to Antelope Valley Medical Center with unknown injuries. Also, responders transported the other driver to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
