1 Person Dead in Modesto Auto Accident on Morgan Road and Nelson Way

MODESTO, CA (March 16, 2025) – Friday afternoon, a horrific two-vehicle crash on Morgan Road and Nelson Way killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Morgan Road and Nelson Way.

According to the Modesto Police, the crash involved a northbound semi-truck and a southbound Ford Mustang.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the Mustang to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Also, the driver of the big rig sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Furthermore, the incident closed Morgan Road from Rockefeller Drive to Hatch Road.
