Horrific Two-Vehicle Crash on Avenue 25 and Road 9 Kills 1 [Madera County, CA]

MADERA COUNTY, CA (February 26, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a horrific two-vehicle crash on Avenue 25 and Road 9 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 25 and Road 9.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Nissan Altima failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with a westbound Toyota Tacoma.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 39-year-old female driver of the Nissan, dead at the scene. Also, the male driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries in the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
